After the storm

Very honored that my drawing “On the Inlet” was awarded Best in Show this evening at the 2022 Fall Art Show of the Seacoast Artists Guild. The show runs through October 13 at Seacoast Artists Gallery, 3032 Nevers Street. Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Despite a hurricane warning that became tropical storm Ian yesterday, with high winds and flooding, the reception was packed and lively. Attendees were invited to wear black and white, so a charcoal storm cloud seemed fitting all around. The show was judged by Liz Miller, esteemed curator of Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum.

“On the Inlet” — charcoal, PanPastel and graphite on Rives BFK paper, 52″ x 41″ framed, 2022.
