This 45″ x 34″ drawing has been on my easel for months while I’ve focused on caring for my father. Finally feel that I can call it finished. I love the passing drama of a storm cloud over the barrier island and inlet, viewed from our back balcony. Also love being immersed in scribbles of charcoal, PanPastel, ebony pencil, and eraser on good-size sheet of cotton Rives paper. I suspect I’ll be working smaller before long, but not sure I’m ready for it.
