Yesterday morning I delivered “On the Inlet” to Debbie Smith, owner of Art Harbor Gallery & Studio in Georgetown, S.C. The charming waterfront town is doing its first run of a community-wide art event known as The Georgetown Art & Wine Walk, to be held June 9 -11, 2023. It’s a small-scale version of Artfields — meaning, juried artwork will be on display throughout local Front Street shops and businesses. Debbie apparently came up with the idea, and of course, that meant she found herself having to take the helm. Artists’ reception is this Friday, June 9, from 6-7:30 p.m., at Georgetown County Museum, 120 Broad Street. Hope to see you there!
