Got up before 6 today to take a Waccamaw Osprey Boat Tour with members of the Carolina Nature Photographers Association. The pontoon boat wandered the Waccamaw River and up a creek or two in search of ospreys and their nesting chicks (there were quite a few). There’s nothing quite so comforting as focusing on nature for an extended time. I didn’t think I got any good photographs, but when I got home I discovered this and a few others.
